Woodstock is a suburban area north of Atlanta that has experienced tremendous growth in the last decade. Its centered around a burgeoning downtown area with numerous boutiques and restaurants as well as mixed used development properties. The downtown is centered around a railroad that was once a stop on the line from Atlanta to Louisville. Close to downtown, you’ll find the Outlet Shoppes at Atlanta which offer upscale shopping and great dining options in an outdoor setting. Greenprints Alliance, a grassroots citizen action group, is currently working to develop The Greenprints Project. Once completed, the project will add 60 miles of trails to the city and connect existing trails to Cobb County, Alpharetta, and Roswell. The project will also connect neighborhoods and public spaces within Woodstock, maintain green space, and create new parks for enjoyment.
